About Pickleball

Pickleball is actually the fastest growing sport in the United States! It is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. It is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Pickleball is played either indoors or outdoors with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net, either as doubles or singles. Tennis, racquetball and ping pong players love the competitive nature of the sport and regularly participate in local, regional, and national tournaments. Many retirement locations have adopted Pickleball as an integrated sports activity for their population of residents. It is known for its ease of learning and appeal to all ages. Anyone can play this sport! Whether you are looking for a fun game, healthy exercise, or intense competition, Pickleball has the ability to fulfill all of these desires.  You can watch this brief video for some introductory information about the sport.
