Brad Maisey
Director of Tennis
Brad has been teaching tennis in Westchester County for over a decade. Originally from Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, he played high school tennis for Tauranga Boys’ College, where they achieved a 4th place finish in the country during his senior year.
After high school, Brad was recruited to play at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. During his four years there, he broke numerous school records, including the all-time singles record with an impressive overall record of 71-4. He was recognized as the “Freshman of the Year” in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) and earned all-conference honors each year throughout his college career. Under his leadership, the team significantly improved from a winless 0-9 season prior to his arrival to becoming nationally ranked by his senior year. In recognition of their accomplishments, Brad’s team was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.
Brad is a PTR & USPTA Elite Professional and is currently enrolled in the Director of Racquet Sports Master’s Program at the University of Florida. During the winter months, he teaches at Chestnut Ridge in Mt. Kisco, NY.
Filippo Verderse
Head Tennis Pro
Filippo is currently a junior at Lipscomb University, in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is majoring in finance. Originally from Genoa, Italy, he had an highest ranking of 795 in the itf junior under 18 rankings in Europe.
A passionate tennis player, Filippo has been deeply involved in the sport for many years, both as a competitor and as a coach. During his time in Italy, he coached at his local club in Genoa, working with players of all ages and skill levels. He also played the local ATP challenger, been sparring partner and strung rackets for the same event. This experience allowed him to develop strong communication and teamwork skills.
Combining his passion for sports with his growing interest in finance, Filippo is motivated to contribute meaningfully in a professional environment while continuing to expand his knowledge and experience.
